Interactive<\/span> <\/a><span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.mercurynews.com\/aei\/2006\/05\/10_wows_from_e3.html\">Entertainment<\/a> for PS2 and Xbox (plus a PSP version).   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\"> Activision\u2019s \u201cMarvel: Ultimate Alliance\u2019\u2019  generated<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">far more buzz as a slick superhero game. But the \u201cJustice League\u201d game<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">struck me as having an exceptionally good fix on why DC\u2019s characters &#8212;<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash and Green Lantern &#8212;<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">have such massive iconic stature in pop culture.  It plays in a way that<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">evokes many comic-book traditions, and the graphics I saw maximized what<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">the original Xbox can offer.  There is one thing that will<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">irritate a lot of hard-core comics fans:  The main Green Lantern<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\">character is John Stewart, not THE Green Lantern, Hal Jordan.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Heh heh.  A man after my own heart. &#8230;I don&#8217;t <em>mind <\/em>John Stewart. But my opinions about the preferred Earth-based GL were formed when Hal was in office&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Must take a look at the game, anyway, as I&#8217;m a big JL fan.<\/p>\n<p>[tags]comics, computer game, Justice League, JLA, JLU, Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, DC Comics, Warner Bros.
