Finished upgrading to XP…

Well, the upgrade to XP seems to have come off with relatively few hitches. It seems that the cause of all earlier difficulties was that GoBack was still running. Disable that and everything runs smoothly. (sigh. Lee, you were right…)

Now it’s just a matter of installing new drivers for various things. The stubbornest pieces of hardware so far, in terms of refusing to re-install, have been the two Win-TV cards. Fortunately I don’t need them urgently for anything.

Time for some more soup…
