This Yourminis widget pulls news headlines from Google News via RSS feed, using the search terms "Rowling" and "RDR".

If you find the widget useful, please feel free to grab its code and place it on your own social networking page, dashboard, blog, or website. You can customize its size and other characteristics when grabbing the code. (For those interested, it's Flash only: no Javascript.)

To grab the code, hover your cursor over the title bar, and the "Copy Me" icon will appear. The widget will offer you code for major social networking formats like Facebook and MySpace, as well as bookmarking formats like PageFlakes, and "dashboard" widget formats for Vista, Apple, iGoogle and Yahoo! Widgets.

(You can naturally also adapt this widget to show other Google News feeds you're interested in seeing, or indeed any other feed you'd like to use. Just click on the dropdown (down-pointing triangle) cursor in the upper right corner when importing the widget, click on "Edit feed settings", and substitute the feed you prefer. You can also use a feed-mixing utility like RSSMix to create a single feed made of several independent ones: then paste the new feed URL that RSSMix generates for you into the widget's setup menu.)
