Okay. Okay.
I like Sailor Moon (the original anime, not the idiotic English-language dub). When I get in a self-examining mood, I file this particular liking away with various other strange fondnesses, like the one for the gently revolving Hamsterdance hamster, feeling that no human being needs to be completely rational about all the things they like. The SM thing, in particular, occasionally manifests itself as WinAmp skins like the one here. Otherwise it remains a fairly quiet part of my life, stacked with various DVDs on the bookshelf and mostly taken out for evaluation or enjoyment, like the rest of the anime in the place, when Peter isn’t around to be driven crazy by it.
However…something new turned up today, on the Geisha asobi blog. Something that gives even me pause, fervent crypto-otaku that I am.
Sumo wrestlers dressed up as the Sailor Senshi. (To say nothing of Queen Beryl. But then again I’ve usually felt that as little should be said about Queen Beryl as possible.)
And not just the Senshi. I’m going to have trouble thinking of Tuxedo Mask in quite the same way as before after seeing this webpage…
